Justin Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml

The 2009 growing season began with snow capped moutains in early February. A short April frost naturally reduced yields by 10%. The middle of August turned hot, allowing flavors to develop while still maintaining acidity. Grapes were sorted 3 times prior to being crushed into open and closed top tanks. Pumpovers, and punch downs were used to manage fermentation. Our Cabernet Sauvignon is a representation of Paso Robles. Bing cherry, raspberry and touch of plum showcase the ripe fruit characters from this warm region. A mid palate rich in spice and texture evolves into flavors of mocha and a touch of smoke. The tannins are prevalent, yet approachable in this youthful Cabernet Sauvignon.
