Manufacturer's Notes: Napa Valley's oldest winery was founded in 1861 by Charles Krug, the visionary father of Napa Valley winemaking. In 1943, Cesare and Rosa Mondavi purchased this iconic estate and built upon its reputation for innovation and uncompromising quality. Their son, our father, Peter Mondavi Sr., proudly shepherded the winery the winery for some 73 years, developing our prized estate vineyards throughout the Napa Valley. Today, we carry the torch forward as stewards of this great estate. Generations, our flagship Bordeaux-style blend, is crafted from our estate vineyards, and aged for 20 months in French oak. The wine pays tribute to our family -- past, present, and future.
