In 1943, Cesare and Rosa Mondavi purchased this iconic estate and built upon its reputation for innovation and uncompromising quality. Their son, our father, Peter Mondavi Sr., proudly shepherded the winery for some 73 years, developing our prized estate vineyards throughout the Napa Valley. Today, we carry the torch forward as stewards of this great estate, passionately perfecting an enduring legacy for the generations to come.
