Manufacturer's Notes: Inspired by the powerful maritime winds of northern Monterey Count, Windstream is dedicated to producing the finest wines from the prestigious Santa Lucia Highlands. Pinot Noir thrives in the cool, foggy climate of our estate Sarmento Vineyard. We have exclusively planted Burgundian clones Dijon 115 and Pommard 5. This site maximizes black cherry and plum characters while preserving natural acidity. Fermentation in small, open-top tanks with aging in French oak adds silky texture and spice notes.
