Trinchero Haystack Vineyard 2007 750ml

This estate vineyard in Atlas Peak- Napa Valley's highest appellation- is named for the iconic flat-topped hill which marks this growing region from afar. This craggy, extremely rocky site stresses the vines, resulting in small, intensely concentrated berries. The wine's firm tannins are gracefully balanced by ripe black fruit flavorsand lifted aromas of coffee and cocoa; all wrapped up in a plush, long finish.
