Inspired by the Meritage concept to make the best blend possible using noble bordeaux grape varieties, this vintage of Virtu has only 47% Sauvignon Blanc. The dominant component is barrel-fermented Semillon, comprising 53% of the blend. The Semillon assures age worthiness and adds breadth, depth and intriguing fig and melon flavors; the Sauvignon Blanc contributes its signature bright notes of fresh, crisp lime and pink grapefruit zest.
