Merlot comes in numerous styles ranging from soft and fruity or oaky and tannic, to somewhere in between. The higher elevations of our vineyards at Wild Horse Peak (2,400 feet) help to develop the varietal fruit character and we feel that the true nature of Merlot is demonstrated with this wine. This selection of South Coast Merlot strikes the perfect balance with rich fruit and soft tannins, a signature characteristic of Merlot. Aged in barrels for 14 months, the oak aromas add a rich aromatic note to the intense berry and delicate floral bouquet of this beautiful wine. Cheers! Here's to you and your good taste.
