Pietra Santa Zinfandel 750ml

Located 25 miles east of Monterey Bay, Pietra Santa has rock and limestone soils that keep yields low creating expressive and flavorful wines. The winery is named Pietra Santa or "Sacred Stone" on honor of these unique soils. This bold and earthy Zinfandel tastes of ripe cherries and plums with complements of toasty oak. It is well balanced with a persistent finish of black pepper and sage. Our 2006 Zinfandel comes from wines that are 50 years old as well as a block planted in 1905.
