OMER. Traditional Blond Ale

Top-fermented ale with a secondary fermentation in bottle, traditionally brewed with high-quality malted barley and 3 varieties of aromatic hops. It's a full flavored ale with a fruity aroma and a subtle bitterness. The name OMER stems from an era before brand names were used. When Omer Vander Ghinste started the brewery in 1892 he gave his ale his own name, "bieren Omer Vander Ghinste", as this was common in those days. Since then every firstborn son was baptised 'OMER'. OMER Traditional blond is the result of a craft that has been passed on from father to son.
