Manufacturer's notes: This wine is inspired by a real woman, Maddalena Riboli, a trailblazer in the wine industry. She was resilient and gusty and knew what she wanted; she founded one of the first tasting rooms in California. Maddalena wines are a reflection of her strength and elegance and we are proud to have her signature on every bottle. 

Our Merlot thrives in the warm days and cool nights of Paso Robles. With steep hillsides and ideal soils, our family's estate vineyards produce intense flavors, plush mouthfeel, and deep color. Ripe berry and black plum notes are complemented by spicy oak from barrel aging. Enjoy with flavorful cheeses and grilled lamb chops.
