Justin Vineyard Isosceles Red Wine 2007 750ml

88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, 4% Merlot. 2007 began with a cold, dry winter and early budbreak. Spring remained dry and warm. A mild, early summer turned hot and ripened fruit consistently. Merlot was picked mid September. Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon picked in mid October to early November. All were hand harvested, fermented and aged separately until blending in August 2008. Sixteen months additional aging in 100% French oak incorporated flavors and integrated the wood. Six months bottle age prior to release softened tannins and further aged the wines.
