Named for Jerry Lohr's late wife, Carol's Vineyard's gravelly, sandy loam soils and Bordeaux-like climate are ideally suited to producing luxury-quality Cabernet Classically dark in color, this complex, single-vineyard wine displays notes of cherry and black plum with a toasted oak bouquet - a perfect pairing for grilled ribeye steak or pasta with mushroom cream sauce.
