This chardonnay was crafted in oak barrels whose staves were bent by hot water instead of by traditional open flame. What's more, we source this wine from sites in Alexander Valley that overlook the Russian River as it bends its way west to the Pacific. Creamy richness and palate-cleasing acidity balance this wine's distinguishable pear, apple and tropical fruit character. Intriguing vanilla accents carry over the finish.
