Firestone Anniversary Ale XX 2016 22fl oz

Manufacturer's Notes: In the fall of 2006, Brewmaster Matt Brynildson unveiled a previously covert stash of barrel-aged strong ales, which he blended together to create "10" - a trailblazing beer commemorating our 10th anniversary. And so began an annual autumn rite. Now, a full decade into our annual Anniversary Ale series, we are proud to release XX, which marks the 20th year since the founding of our brewery in 1996. True to form, XX is a harmonious blend of diverse beers matured for a year or more in retired bourbon and other spirits barrels, as well as barrels repurposed from our Firestone Union oak fermentation system. In keeping with Anniversary Ale tradition, we gathered with several friends in the local Paso Robles winemaking community to help make XX, drawing on their expertise to create the final blend. The result is a limited-edition beer that offers immense depth and complexity with long, intense flavors that beg to be sipped and savored. XX is also built to last and will reward careful cellaring for years to come.
