This Syrah is made from grapes grown in the fertile, coastal valleys of Southern California. The climate in these valelys is influenced by the Pacific Ocean, and the grapes develop a healthy, vigorous character that is attributable to the geography of the area. Call it a Southern California attitude. Blending in a small amount of Grenache adds a wonderful dimension of aroma and flavor that highlights the berry fruit and subtle earthy nature of Syrah.
