Manufacturer's Notes: In 2006, A long, cool growing season fostered the slow, even ripening of our Napa Valley Merlot Grapes, which we harvested with an ideal balance of intense fruit flavors and bright acidity. Aging in French oak barrels, 25% new, for 18 months polished this full-bodied Merlot's pretty plum, black cherry and vanilla aromas and deeply concentrated cherry flavors. Ripe, sweet tannins and savory roasted coffee tone distinguish the wine's long, sumptuous finish.
