Manufacturer's Notes: Bar an Uisce 'WICKLOW RARE' Blended Irish Whiskey. 80/20 grain/10 year old malt. MAtured in first-fill bourbon barrels for 4 years. Finished in Oloroso sherry casks for 6 months. From the place where the grass is 'agreen' like no other green in the world. A place, entombed in ice for thousands of years, and then sculpted by giant glaciers. The Spirit of Barr an Uisce. Pour it. Pale gold in color. Aromas of vanilla, honey and baked fruits. Very smooth entry and then expansive with a mouth-coating, oily texture. Mid palate shows a nuttiness and warmth with hints of raisin and plum. A long, clean finish with subtle marmalade notes and caramel.
