Product Description

Manufacturer's Notes: From the Ardbeg Distillery to Port Ellen and beyond, follow the rocky coast and you will discover the heavenly vista of Traigh Bhan (pronounced tri-van), the beautiful beach known locally as the Singing Sands...

For this captivating place has soft white sands that sing beneath your feet, a hum that ebbs and flows with the winds and the tides. But beguiling as this place is, do not drop your guard. Bathing is ill-advised in the seemingly tame crystal waters where jagged, volcanic rocks pierce the ands along the shore.

Sweet Swells
Aromas of herbal pine and fennel rise up to flow gently on the breeze, followed by sharp, tangy wisps of citrusy lime sorbet and medicinal lozenge. A cascade of eucalyptus and saddle soap infiltrates the senses, before hazelnut, sweet vanilla, and currants surge forth, leaving a distant hint of rich minted chocolate in their wake.

Smoky Riptides
Intense notes of wood smoke and decadent dark chocolate crash over the palate, followed by a ripple of sweet lemon curd and peanut brittle. The allure of this rare dram continues as currents shift to reveal delicate hints of creamy raisin fudge and hazelnut, Delicate wisps of more medicinal and spicy notes of rich wood smoke, menthol, aniseed, clove and white pepper. Sweet and peat collide with creamy vanilla fudge, dark cocoa powder, and a warm, woody clove tingle. A sharp, intense, and satisfyingly long finish.

Especially Rare
This sublime 19 Year Old whisky is the epitome of an aged Ardbeg. Its elegant taste surprises and beguiles, with intense waves of smokiness that never overwhelm. A rare and special Ardbeg that stays with you, long after the last drop.

This exclusive, small batch Ardbeg is non chill-filtered with a strength of 46.2% ABV, to retain maximim flavour, more body and depth. With water a little cloudiness may occur, which is perfectly normal.
