Originally cultivated in Bordeaux, vine clone 181 flourishes under our careful tending in the red soils and cobblestones of our Lodi vineyard. A lavish expression of classic Bordeaux-style Merlot, 181 is bursting with plush tannins and sumptuous notes of black cherry, stone fruit and spice. Its lingering, luxurious finish is a vivid complement to lamb kebabs, roast beef and hearty sauces.
