Manufacturer's Notes: An intricate blending of rare & old malt whiskies. In the 17th Century, Scottish craftsmen innovated "The Feathery," a compact ball made from hide and stuffed with feathers, which we now recognize as the predecessor of the modern golf ball. The Featheries are of great value, and sold for a premium even at the time of their manufacture, as it took great force to pack a leather hide with the traditional "Top Hat Full" of chicken feathers and then to round the product into an aerodynamic shape. Even the most skilled professionals could only make two or three in a day's work. Like the invention from which our spirit derives its name, this blended malt whisky is a composite of fine ingredients, artfully arranged for a well rounded taste that echoes the rich history and sophistication of the sport of golf. In creating The Feathery, we have taken as much painstaking care as the Scottish craftsman of old, preferencing quality over quantity every time, for a product that is as precious as a HOLE-IN-ONE.
