This hand-crafted, limited production brandy Solera Gran Reserva was firstly made in the middle of the last century to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the death of Carlos I. Carlos I Imperial is an exquisite blend of brandies, some of which have aged for more than 20 years in oak casks, previously containing our premium Sherry wines, Oloroso and Amontillados. The unique ageing system of Criaderas and Solera, an artisanal process, which combines art and experience, ensures a brandy of extraordinary quality and aromatic complexity. With a rich amber colour and golden highlights, Carlos I Imperial is a sublime and rich harmony of flavours, a real treat for the senses. Extremely elegant and silky, with a luxurious finish that exudes nuances of hazelnuts and dried figs.
