Blackwater Distillery Velvet Cap Irish Whiskey 700ml

Manufacturer's Notes: Velvet Cap is a small batch blend of malt and grain whiskies aged for not less than three years in a selection of bourbon stouted rye port casks. 

Velvet caps were traditionally worn by jockeys in point-to-point racing, dating from 1752. Riders raced over fence and ditch between two churches -- from one steeple to another -- hence the term steeplechase.
