Tranquil Heart Vineyard 2016 Viognier White Wine 750ml

Manufacturer's Notes: Viognier is known for its floral aromatics, lushness on the palate and long finish. An array of complex flavors, from apricot and orange blossom to violet and rose, give Viognier, its irresistible allure. Viognier vines start to hit their peak after 15 to 20 years. The origin of the grape is unknown, however Viognier is presumed to be an ancient grape, possibly originating in Dalmatia (present day Croatia) and then brought to Rhone by the Romans. It is a light, dry, crisp table wine with a hint of sweetness and notes of peach and citrus.
Tranquil Heart Vineyard & Winery is a small, private vineyard nestled in the foothills of the San Jacinto Mountains. Owner & Vintner, Bill Shinkle, planted his vineyard on this 100 year old unspoiled plot of land, rich in nutrients, in 2013. Since day one the decision was made to be sustainable, bio-dynamic, pesticide & herbicide free. Our philosophy is; To make a superior wine, one must start with superior grapes... Enjoy!
