Manufacturer's Notes: Hudson's Maple Cask Rye Whiskey takes a fresh approach to the historic rye whiskey for which New York was so well known before Prohibition. This whiskey has been double distilled from locally harvested New York rye grain and aged in new charred oak barrels. We then impart a rich maple quality to the spirit by aging it in used whiskey casks which held fresh maple syrup. This special finish lends a wonderful round maple character to Hudson's award winning rye whiskey.
