Castle Rock Reserve Russian Valley Chardonnay 2005 750ml

Only 800 cases of the Castle Rock Reserve are handcrafted. The grapes were harvested from vines grown in the prestigious Russian River Valley. The wine, comprised of 100% Chardonnay grapes, was fermented in French oak barrels coopered in Burgandy. This Chardonnay is a crisp wine displaying remarkable depth and integration. Its slight sweetness rounds the wine perfectly, and its flavors of pear, vanilla, butter and spice slowly unfold on the palate. It is perfect for drinking now, and will maintain its excellent quality through 2008.
