Clos Du Bois Calcaire Russian River Valley Chardonnay 750ml

Our 2006 Calcaire Chardonnay is sourced from the finest vineyards in the Russian River Valley. The well-drainedsoils of thisarea promote extensive root development and less vigorous vine growth, thereby concentrating grape flavors. The presence of fog during the growing season lengthens hang time, creating grapes with rich fruit character and vibrant acidity. The 2006 vintage was 100% barrel fermented and sur lie aged in French oak barrels. This year's Calcaire is aromatic and flavorful with green apple, white peach, mandarin and a touch of spice. The wine has a creay and silky texture, complete with a long finish. This wine will continue to develop additional complexity with extended bottle age.
